Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 20 July 2026

The plain-English version

Herron is free to use. To keep it that way, some links from Herron to retailers' product pages are affiliate links: if you click one and go on to buy something, the retailer may pay Herron a commission. You pay exactly the same price either way — the commission comes out of the retailer's side, never added to yours.

Where these links appear

Affiliate links can appear wherever Herron shows you a real product: in the product library when you search for tiles or flooring, and in the results panel next to your material order, where matching products from retailers are suggested. Wherever they appear alongside your results, we repeat this disclosure inline.

How products are chosen

Product suggestions are matched to your project by relevance — the tile or plank dimensions you're planning with, and what you searched for. They are never ranked or selected by how much commission a retailer pays, and your layout results, pack counts, and cut lists are computed entirely independently of any retailer relationship.

Tracking

When you click an affiliate link, the affiliate network the retailer works with (for example Awin or similar) may set a cookie in your browser on the retailer's site so the purchase can be attributed. This happens on the retailer's domain and is governed by their privacy policy and cookie consent — Herron itself sets no tracking cookies without your consent, as described in our Privacy Policy.
